AT&T Working on Shutting Down 13 Legacy Services in SW Region

AT&T is seeking permission from the FCC to discontinue legacy TDM-related services in its Southwest Bell South territory saying it is “discontinuing these services because there is no market demand for these service options.” Once approved, the services options, specifically, the Telegraph Bridging Four-Wire Capability and Voice-grade Active Telemetry and Alarm Bridging Split Capability in the 13 areas of Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas will no longer be offered as service options for customers after Feb. 28, 2017.
